◎ Removing barriers together
Our mission

Putting opportunity within reach for more people

Reed Foundation brings together education, wellbeing, and inclusive employment so that people can learn, heal, and participate fully in their communities.

What we do

Our charitable objects guide everything we do. We work in partnership with schools, community organisations, and service providers to make sure support is both practical and respectful.

  • Advance education through scholarships, bursaries, and learning materials for students in need across Canada.
  • Promote physical and mental health and lifelong learning through community programmes that support individuals, families, youth, and educators.
  • Support digital literacy and ethical technology use with awareness campaigns, workshops, and online education resources.
  • Promote accessibility and inclusion for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing through outreach, advocacy, and partnerships that enhance communication, employment, and participation.
Working alongside community, not above it.

We collaborate rather than duplicate, building on the strengths of existing non-profits, public institutions, and community agencies across Canada.

Our work extends into employment, poverty relief, and recovery, with a focus on dignity and long term wellbeing.

  • Collaborate with employment and job placement non-profit organisations to improve access to meaningful work for people facing barriers, including those with disabilities or from marginalised communities.
  • Relieve poverty and homelessness by supporting or partnering with organisations that provide housing, food, clothing, and essential social services.
  • Support addiction awareness and recovery through education, collaboration, and community-based therapy initiatives that promote long term wellbeing.
